Bradenton Beach
The City Of Bradenton Beach
If you’re looking at homes for sale or another luxury real estate near Bradenton or Sarasota, consider Bradenton Beach. At the southern tip of Anna Maria Island, the community of Bradenton Beach was incorporated in 1953, and it’s now home to approximately 1,600 residents, a diverse mix of retirees, single professionals, and married couples with and without children. Cortez Beach and Coquina Beach offer residents and visitors miles of pristine, sparkling white sand, and there’s always plenty of free parking. Coquina Beach also provides a playground, picnic facilities, showers, and restrooms.
Across from Coquina Beach, Coquina Bay Walk at Leffis Key is a 17-acre water habitat where you’ll come face-to-face with blue crabs and fiddler crabs, wading birds and whelks, all in an authentic, natural Florida setting. Coquina Bay Walk at Leffis Key also offers birding, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. It’s open daily from sunrise to sunset, it’s always free, and most of the paths are handicapped-accessible. Bradenton Beach is also the home of the Tingley Memorial Library, built with a bequest from the estate of philanthropist Beulah Tingley (1893-1986) and maintained without taxpayer dollars. Bradenton Beach packs plenty into a small community. With waterfront homes and beachfront homes in a wide range of styles, designs, sizes, and prices, Bradenton Beach has become one of Florida’s most popular markets for beach-loving homebuyers.
