Fisherman’s Bay
FISHERMEN’S BAY
A GATED WATERFRONT COMMUNITY WITH INTRACOASTAL ACCESS
Fishermen’s Bay is a small, secluded neighborhood that offers beautiful views of Little Sarasota Bay. Less than 20 homes line the singular road, Fishermen’s Bay Road, which ends in a cul-de-sac. The street is decorated with gorgeous, tall oak trees that provide the perfect amount of shade and privacy.
The meticulously groomed landscape and upkeep of the paved road is a result of the required $700 annual HOA fee. Community amenities include a boat dock for residents only directly across the waterway from South Siesta Key beach and a 75-foot fishing pier. The community dock is available to every home, which provides easy access to the open waters of the Intracoastal; however, some homes may have their own private dock.
Most homes reflect a sophisticated Key West style with warm cream and beige colors and crisp white porches, French doors, and vaulted ceilings. Relax on the porch with a nice cup of coffee watching the sunrise while listening to nothing but the birds chirping.
Fishermen’s Bay offers peace and quiet, but it also offers convenience. It is just minutes from the white, sandy beaches of Siesta Key, an AMC movie theater, fine dining, and endless shopping at the Sarasota Square Mall.
For the active families, there is a YMCA just outside of the community, a 10-minute drive to the area’s best golf courses, and the Legacy Trail, which is a 10.8-mile paved road that connects Sarasota communities together, is about a 15-minute drive. It’s a perfect spot for a bike ride, learn some history or just enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the trail
The community is family-oriented and offers access to the highly-rated Sarasota County School District.
