The Oaks Clubside is one of three communities that make up The Oaks. The Oaks Clubside, a prestigious gated golf and country club in Osprey, just south of the Sarasota line, has elegant and spacious homes dotting the landscape. But it is also home to egrets, sandhill cranes, turtles, blue herons, bobcats and many other native species. Majestic oak and native palm trees of many varieties provide a beautiful backdrop.

The Oaks Clubside is made up of just over 350 homes, and 20 condominiums which line the perimeter of two challenging golf courses. The Oaks Clubside is a private, members-only club known for its alluring grounds and active social calendar. Members of the Oaks will enjoy the Men’s and Women’s Club, philanthropy, and charitable organization. Other activities include themed parties, galas, and dances; book and card clubs, and organized trips.

Amenities at the Oaks include 36 holes of championship golf, with the Eagles course being new in 2007 and designed by Arthur Hills. The courses provide play for all skill levels, and the golf program runs clinics and lessons throughout the year. There are 12 Har-Tru tennis courts for the tennis enthusiast, walking and biking, and a junior Olympic swimming pool for laps or water aerobics. The Oaks Clubside offers a luxurious country club living close to all the great culture of Sarasota – just 20 minutes up the road is downtown Sarasota, the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center, the Sarasota Opera, and many theaters. Fine dining and shopping is also just a short drive, making the Oaks Clubside one of the truly prestigious destinations in the Sarasota area.

This Oaks Clubside is one of the three neighborhoods of The Oaks. This subdivision has homes ranging from 2,400 square feet and up. Historically, The Oaks was the first gated community in Sarasota county. Today, this Osprey neighborhood is member-owned and governed.

Membership to the Oaks Club is mandatory. Perks of living in The Oaks Clubside include access to two different golf courses, tennis courts, heated pool, and croquet. The club has a number of social events happening all the time! For example, they have a women’s club, a men’s club, a book club, and a mah-jongg club. In addition to this, they have three different dining rooms available to members.

A trip to the beach is only a few minutes away, as well as the many dining and shopping options that Sarasota has to offer. For those who like to travel, the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is only 15 miles away.
